Grant Description
Sponsorships to Florida nonprofit organizations for events and programs that meet community needs in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support impactful community programming that furthers the missions of local nonprofits. Requests should represent the diversity of the region and uphold and promote activities that ensure accessibility for all. Eligible applicants serve communities in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto Counties.
The Community Foundation of Sarasota County invites organizations to apply for support that contributes to their mission through ticketed events. Events should also bring awareness to community needs and opportunities, as well as demonstrate the area’s culture of philanthropy and strive to connect people with causes.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
To receive a grant through this program, organizations must also have:
• An IRS Letter of Determination that shows the organization is a 501(c)3 public charity.
• At least one current program with local impact in one of the following counties: Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, or DeSoto.
• An approved/current profile in The Giving Partner, a powerful, searchable online database with over 700 profiles of charitable organizations serving Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.
